About the Project

The facility supplied was capable of processing 30,000 bbl/day of crude with 50% water cut requiring water treatment and desalting/dehydration facilities.

The entire process facility was mobilised and constructed within 26 weeks from contract award. All site civil works were included in the contract.

The facility was successfully commissioned and operated by an entire production infrastructure mobilised to Yemen to support the project.

The scope of supply for the project included:

  • Engineer, procure, mobilise, install, commission contract for a 30,000 bpd facility
  • Utilisation of existing process vessels to meet an aggressive schedule
  • Project manage all construction activities inclusive of civils
  • Equipment procured from international vendors, built in modular units to minimize installation time on site
  • Customer will receive first oil within 26 weeks from contract award in challenging environment
