Senior Process Engineer
Wasan joined Influit Asia as a Process Engineer in October, 2015. He has over 17 years of experience in specialised Process Engineering for the Upstream & Downstream industry. After graduating from Prince Songkla University with a degree in Chemical Engineering, he joined IRPC (Petrochemical Complex) in Rayong, Thailand, as the Process Engineer responsible for Ethylene Complex for all Process Monitoring, Process Design & Modification, Study and Troubleshooting. His career then moved to Engineering Design and roles with Foster Wheeler and then Technip Engineering Thailand. As Senior / Lead Process Engineer with Technip Engineering Thailand, he was involved in many Upstream Projects for Chevron and PTTEP. In May 2014, he joined WorleyParsons as the Lead Process Engineer for Basic Design PTTEP minimum facility Wellhead Platform, and Relief & Blowdown study for Chevron Facilities in Thailand.
For WorleyParsons, he was assigned as the Acting Head of Department (HOD) of Process Engineering to manage all administration and all proposal preparation, manpower planning for projects, and recruitment. He was involved with the Support Business Development Team for SOW clarification and commercial discussion, and Proposal preparation for major Oil & Gas Clients. He also provided the technical support and training required to Process & Senior Engineers especially for process software.
Wasan has been involved in many Oil & Gas Processing design projects, from the conceptual stage to the detailed design stage. His expertise includes Process Engineering Design / Process Simulation (AspenHysys) for Oil & Gas Processing, Gas Separation Processing, Process Equipment Design (HTRI & Aspen Exchanger Design & Rating) and Relief & Blowdown system (AspenHysys Dynamics & Aspen Flare Analyzer). Wasan is a current member of the Council of Engineers in Thailand.
